By God's grace, Redeemer Bible Fellowship is a body of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We exist for the glory of God and to make disciples of Jesus as we abide in Him and His Word.
Why the name. "Redeemer Bible Fellowship?"
Redeemer: Jesus is our Redeemer. He has recused us and reconciled us to God. We are Christ-exalting in all that we do. In a culture that exalts self, we exalt Christ. In a culture that is man-centered, we are Christ-centered, all for the praise, renown, and fame of His great name. (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, 1 Peter 3:18, Ephesians 2:14, 1 Timothy 2;5, John 17:3)
Bible: Sola Scriptura, in Scripture alone, we joyfully submit to God's Word. We are Bible-driven in all that we do. In a culture that rebels against the truth of God's Word, we long for the precious life-transforming truths of God's Word through expository preaching and teaching. Verse by verse. Word by word. Lives forever changed.
(2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 10:17, Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 40:8)
Fellowship: We are fellowship-focused in all that we do. True biblical fellowship is first anchored vertically as we abide in the finished work of the true vine Jesus. Horizontal fellowship, one to another, then follows as we biblically unify in one accord under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
(John 15:1-8, Acts 2:42, 1 John 1:3, Hebrews 10:24-25, Romans 1:12)
1. Christ and His glory above all. It's no longer I, but Christ.
2. Bold expository proclamation of the Word of God, without apology.
3. Fervent in prayer.
4. Abiding in the true vine Jesus, beholding His glory.
5. As we abide in Christ (the root), the outflow (the fruit) is a
pursuit of holiness and obedience, confession of personal
indwelling sin, and bearing fruit worthy of repentance.
6. Intentional biblical discipleship.
7. Intentional biblical evangelism.
8. Selfless sacrifice.
9. Authentic biblical community and fellowship
10. Families worshipping and celebrating God's glory together.
"Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
- Colossians 1:28
"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the Gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God."
- Philippians 1:27-28
